<-- I got a medium pizza from Riverside for my big end of the month cheat day. Little did I know I should have ordered a small!!!!! This is what I had left over and I gave it to my Mom. I CANNOT believe I couldn't do it! I got mad because it all happened so fast lol but I am thrilled. I used to get a large and have NO problem polishing it off; let alone give away my left-overs! I treated it like gold ha-ha. I am so proud of myself. I literally could not eat any more. I forced the last 3 pieces down and got VERY uncomfortably full. CRAZYYY!!!!!!!!!

Michael went to work at 4am and I could not fall back asleep. I ended up lying in bed until 6 and then got up & had an egg with a piece of toast. I then showered and got my walk in all before 10am! GO me! I walked Chewie to my Moms and then we visited for a little while and then I took the long way home by walking from her house to Caspian and then I got on the Apple Blossom trail and took that all the way until I hit the bridge on the road by my house. I really enjoyed walking early. I left my house around 7:30am and the roads were not busy; everyone still seemed to be sleeping lol. It was also nice and cool. Perfect walking weather and get this; I jogged half of the way to my Moms!!!

Below: Mine and Chewie's silhouette lol

Okay now, enuff of the cheating pizza stuff! You're concentrating more on your cheat days and pretty soon you'll be giving in to other things. Like marijuana leads to cocaine, and a beer leads to hard liquor, and ...well, you get the picture!! LOL. Just teasing. But you know there are lots of good "healthy" pizza recipes online if you search 'em out. With your talent for putting together tasty meals on a budget and with nutritious food, I'm surprised you haven't invented the Cheater Pizza!
Oh, I lost 5 pounds in a couple days.....see, there is a positive side to having an ulcer. (chuckles) Doc has me on a strong Rx and it's working well already. I haven't been able to eat anything decent in several days, so I feel like you when you look forward to your cheat days! Just can't wait to put some GOOD UNhealthy food in my mouth.
Super job on eating only a portion of your pizza. Can't believe you actually gave away the rest. The photo made my mouth water for a Riverside pizza. They're so deliciously different from any other pizza.
Keep up the good pace with your exercise. Walking is great when you have someone to walk and talk with, hey? Glad to hear that Michael is beginning to join you when he can. Good luck teaching the dogs to behave on the leash. It's fun teaching them if you get serious about it. Joy is doing well....I think I should be able to get her certified as a therapy dog by year end. Cool, huh?
Take care now!
xoxo,
Deb

I am so mad! I just wrote this HUGE reply back to you and I went to erase a word and hit the back space key and it took me back to my last web browser and erased everything I wrote!!!!!! I am so irritated!

I'm glad you got something for your ulcer I can only imagine how uncomfortable that would be and irritating when you can't eat what you want!

I have looked up cheater pizzas! I found a couple I thought I could try some cheat day. One was baked with no crust and the other had a chopped up cauliflower crust that looked good! Supposildy you can't even tell the difference!

I know i've talked to much about my cheat days lol. Oddly enough that end of the month cheat day is what motivates me through the month. It's the one day where I can put all guards down and not be "dieting" for that meal lol - I love just ordering what I want without having to sit and count calories and make myself feel guilty. This month I was bad with some of my cheat fridays though because I had eating subway pizza once and then my Mom and I had went to eat breakfast on another Friday. I have been getting lax but part of me feels that's ok as long as i'm not throwing in the towel. I havn't gained anything so that's good. I know i lost something this week. Yesterday morning I felt great and this morning I just know I feel lighter. I am happy I didn't eat that whole medium because I would deff be feeling worse right now and would have lost all of my motivation for the day. Sometimes it can be like a domino effect.

OH! I didn't want to make you feel bad about cheating. I think sensible cheating (and sometimes NOT sensible) is a necessary part of dieting. Seriously, ya gotta have some fun and a little rebellion in life!!! LOL. I think you're doing way better than the average person trying to do this on her own; YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL!!!! About the pizza, I've also heard that a whole wheat tortilla makes a healthier pizza "dough"...just top it off with goodies and bake. Now, I never tried it so this is just rumor. And you know how rumors go...
Love,
Deb
