I am so mad! I wrote more in yesterdays post and it VANISHED! I don't know where the rest of what I wrote went and I wish I would have saved it on my computer. Oh well! I woke up and had my lemon water and an breakfast sandwich. I don't like them. Next time I need to make them different. Next time I am going to scramble all of the eggs in my ninja blender and then pour them into the muffin tin. I don't like how they came out when I just slightly broke the yolks. Also I microwaved my sandwich this morning for 1 minute, 30 seconds and the egg was stilll frozen in the middle. If I microwave them any long the cheese and muffin will get hard. SO this time around it was a flop. My Mom said to take one out of the freezer every night and let it thaw. I am going to try that for tomorrow and see how that one turns out otherwise i'm just going to take the egg off and eat just the cheese and muffin like I have been doing lol. I had a turkey sloppy joe for lunch and will be having another one for dinner. I am half way through my water jug and am on my 4th cup of green tea. I still have yet to workout today but I will. I have also decided I am not going to weigh in tomorrow. Tomorrow is my Friday cheat day, I am not sure what I am going to cheat with or if i'm going to cheat at all! I looked up the status of my new exercise equipment and it now says it's going to be delivered on Monday. I was hoping it'd be here tomorrow but that's ok, I can wait a couple more days. So excited to spice up my routine and work my body in a different way. I think it has been getting used to my basement workouts so I can't wait to see the results I am going to get once I start up on my new machine :-) I did a dance workout earlier today and last night I spiced it up and ran up and down my stairs for 15 minutes and then did another 15 minutes of crunches and stretches. I woke up and had my lemon water and had a breakfast sandwich. It was my first time heating one up from frozen and I put it in for 1 minute and when I went to take a bite the egg was still a bit frozen. Next time I need to use medium eggs instead of jumbo or get a bigger muffin tin. I am almost done with my water jug and am on my 3rd cup of green tea. I missed lunch (not on purpose) and made sloppy joes with ground turkey for dinner! I stuffed it into a half of a wheat pita and added a slice of provolone cheese. When I cooked it I added some chopped up green pepper, onion and mushroom with a few black olives and 2 handfuls of fresh spinach. IT WAS AMAZING! I wasn't sure how I was going to like the spinach but I loved it. I didn't chop it up either. I also added a can of Manwich. It made enough for 8 sandwiches so I will definitely be freezing most of it tomorrow and re-heat as I have the taste for it :-) I don't have to I made a batch of breakfast sandwiches this morning and froze them. I went off a recipe I found online (posted link below) - I got wheat english muffins and toasted them. I then put the eggs in a muffin tin, broke the yolks and sprinkled them with pepper, garlic powder and salt. I baked them at 350 for about 20 minutes. I used jumbo eggs so they took a little longer to cook. I made half of the sandwiches with a slice of provolone cheese and the other half with american cheese slices. I wish I would have gotten the cheddar like the recipe called for (I forgot) but they are still good! I am not a big fan of having meat on them but I had some really thin sliced buddig honey ham/turkey that I had to use up so I put a slice on each. It's more for appearance. I couldn't really taste that it was even on the sandwich lol. Each one of my sandwiches are 270 calories. After I put them all together I wrapped them up in parchment paper and they are ready to grab and microwave at my convenience! Healthy Egg McMuffin Copycat Recipe I had my lemon water first thing this morning and then had a breakfast sandwich after I made them. I am on my 3rd cup of green tea and have about half way to go with my water jug. I am not sure what I am going to have for dinner. I missed lunch but I am going to have some tortilla chips and salsa as a snack. One day this week I am going to be making some sloppy joes. I am going to use ground turkey and add some fresh veggies to it that I have to use up. I never gave my Mom those 3 bowls of chili. She told me to freeze them and I did. I don't know why I didn't think of that before. For some reason I was in the mentality that I had to eat them or else they were garbage lol. It didn't dawn on me that I can freeze it! TOTAL brain fart on my part! I will probably freeze sloppy joe too. It'll be nice to have options! My new exercise equipment should be here any day now! I hope it's not too hard to put together. I still have yet to workout today but I will. Wazzzzzzaappp! I just got back upstairs from a basement workout. I only did a half hour. I made sure to bring the dogs down there with me this time in case I got spooked again lol. I woke up and had my lemon water first thing and then had a banana for breakfast. I had a pita pizza for lunch and missed dinner but I snacked on some tortilla chips and salsa. Oh and I also had a half of a pita PB&J. I am almost done with my water jug and have had 5 cups of green tea. I am not going to be doing those calorie charts anymore. They changed something that makes it really hard for me to get it from my phone to computer. I will just tell you guys what I eat. On a sadder note; today we put down my childhood cat Casper. He was 14 and lived a good life. We will miss him! The picture to the left is my Mom with Casper about 6 years ago <3 I did a short basement workout last night. I did about 20 minutes until something caught my eye across the room. I got spooked! I know I was the only one down there and the dogs were upstairs. It didn't take me long after that to book it upstairs lol.

I made some deviled eggs and had some other snacks. I wish I would have written this earlier. I am tired! I am going to hit the hay. Goodnight! :-) I don't know what to think about yesterday. It was an off day for me. I woke up and weighed myself and I am exactly where I was last Friday. I didn't lose anything! I was bummed and ended up cheating yesterday. I didn't write my blog, work out, drink my lemon water, green tea or eat right. I snacked on some junk foods, skipped breakfast and dinner...Yesterday was just a mess but today I feel better about it. I feel I worked hard this past week and to have nothing to show for it. Michael said it looks like I lost more weight and that I am looking more defined so it makes me feel better thinking that I probably lost something but gained it back in muscle? I have been keeping up with weights, crunches and have been working my core pretty hard. Good things come to those who wait! So far today I woke up and had my lemon water, i'm on my 2nd cup of green tea and I had a banana for breakfast. I am not sure what I will have for lunch or dinner but I am going to try and keep it pretty light. I still have 3 bowls of chili in the fridge that I need to eat but don't have the taste for chili. I will probably give them to my Mom and Dad. I think I have had enough turkey chili for a while haha. I still have yet to start on my water jug but I will soon. The picture below is of the new exercise equipment I am getting!! It was just ordered today and I CANNOT wait for it to come in! It will be my first piece of new equipment! I never thought i'd be so excited for something like this but I am. It's a Hybrid Elliptical and Recumbent Bike. I see myself losing lots more weight on this thing! I think I am going to set it up upstairs and not in the basement. At least for now until summer hits. Summer time is a good time for basement workouts because my basement stays at least 25 degrees cooler! |
